Competition rages between different social media sites, and usually, the social networking site Twitter is the one that quotes Facebook, but this time it is Facebook that has borrowed a new feature from its rival Twitter, the new feature is still under testing as indicated by Facebook.
And Facebook has revealed that it is testing a new feature, and it comes to a notification that users will see on their page when they publish one of the posts on their page, and this notification is a pop-up window asking the user if he really wants to share the article with his friends, given that he did not open it Therefore, he did not read it, which is the feature that became available on the social networking site Twitter for a while and encourages users to read articles and share them.
"Starting today, we are testing a way to promote more informed participation for news articles. If you go to share a link to a news article that you didn't open, we will show you a message urging you to open it and read it before sharing it with others," Facebook said in a tweet on its Facebook Newsroom account.
On the other hand, Facebook has not announced the date of adopting the new feature for all users.
