Also, Apple has already signed an agreement with the Japanese company Sony, which requires that the latter provide it with the latest generation of Lidar technology, which will be available in its iPhone phones starting in the year 2023 and over a period of three years, noting that the iPhone 13 will not be the first phone from Apple With this feature, where the company had previously integrated it in each of the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max in addition to the iPad Pro 2020

And the use of this technology in phones constitutes a distinctive addition to it, especially at the level of 3D mapping of the surrounding environment
