Sony withdraws Cyberpunk 2077 from its PlayStation Store and refunds its users

In a decision that had become anticipated some time ago, the Japanese company Sony announced the withdrawal of the Cyberpunk 2077 game from its electronic stores dedicated to its PlayStation Store gaming platforms, and this decision comes after many problems that have faced users of this game during the recent period.


And the media indicated during the last period that many users of the Cyberpunk 2077 game faced a number of problems while playing, and the crashes that afflicted the game were frequent and numerous complaints from users, and it also caused Sony to issue its decision that was expected. By many, by withdrawing the Cyberpunk 2077 game from the online store, as well as in a favorable step by the company, the latter decided to compensate the players,


Sony said in its statement that it is doing everything in its power to ensure the satisfaction of all its customers, and for this reason it decided to provide a full refund to all players who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store, in that it will also remove Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store until further notice. Once verified that a user has purchased Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store, we will initiate the refund process.


And a number of criticisms have been directed at the Polish developer CD Projekt for rushing to launch the game before solving the problem.
