And it comes to the LG Cloi Disinfectbot, which is a robot that will be special for sterilization against the Covid 19 virus, especially with the continued increase in cases in the South Korean country, and it is a robot that works with advanced technologies, as it will be equipped with UVC lamps to be 99.9% effective in killing bacteria Coli and Staphylococcus aureus in a radius of one meter, according to the Korean Matchmaking Laboratories, a national research institute, the new robot is 160 cm long and is self-controlling.
And LG announced at the end of last month that it had started testing the feature of purchasing purchases via robots, as LG robots named LG Cloi Servebot will deliver products from the stores of the local Korean retail chain GS25 to a person residing in LG Science Park, which is the official headquarters For the South Korean company LG in the capital, Seoul, where tests are limited to this area only.
And these robots can ride in the elevator on their own and without human assistance, to move between nine floors in LG Science Park in addition to the underground floor, where they are tasked with delivering food and beverages to residents of the area, where they can launch their order through the KakaoTalk chat application, where Grocery store users are tasked with placing the order in the drawers of the robot and then registering the place of delivery on its settings, and the robot communicates wirelessly with the smart elevator in the building, and before its arrival it sends a message to the owner of the order informing him of its arrival.
