Pwnagotchi: Tamagotchi Wi-Fi hacking tool using artificial intelligence

If you were in the nineties, then you surely know well Tamagotchi, the electronic games that gave you the opportunity to take care of a small virtual animal. Recently, Bandai decided to bring this game back to the market by releasing a new limited edition.

These new models made a great sensation, especially among the generation of the nineties, who have memories of this game, but there is another unofficial project, which made Tamagotchi talk about it also many sites and platforms on the Internet. This tool is called Pwnagotchi, and it was modeled after Tamagotchi by a hacker calling himself Evilsocket on Twitter.

What is this project and what does it aim for? Essentially, turning Pi into a WiFi Hunter Tamagotchi with the Pwnagotchi project, which includes an AI capable of 'learning' about the wireless environment, and modifying the type of data it receives to improve the chances of success for hacking Wi-Fi networks.

Instead of eating virtual foods, Pwnagotchi feeds on WiFi; yes Pwnagotchi is a tool designed to hack WiFi (not very traditional). According to its creator, the evolution of Pwnagotchi is based on its exposure to WiFi. The more Wi-Fi networks are exposed, the easier it will be for him to penetrate, this tool relies on artificial intelligence for learning.

To make it evolve, users will have to move around the city and collect data over the WiFi that will be used to "feed" Pwnagotchi. This device has an interface that allows users to check Pwnagotchi's mood according to his activities and level of satisfaction.

Pwnagotchi has a tutorial that allows it to evaluate your WiFi environment and change its settings automatically to increase its chances of capturing the most data possible.  

In just a few weeks, Pwnagotchi saw an enormous number of users. A community of users from all over the world has appeared on the web. They offer advice on the best way to improve Pwnagotchi use.
